A home security system combined with the power of the Internet this weekend to catch a holiday thief.

Surveillance video going viral helped Dan and Ashley Rolle get their stolen Christmas gifts back.

The thief's face and license plate number were caught on tape.

"We just have some simple cameras that you can get at Target or Walmart," Dan Rolle said.

The video shows a woman parking in front of the Rolles' house, walking up to the front door and going back to her car with boxes in hand.

She wore a mask, but a hidden camera on the garage shows her face before she puts the mask on.

The video has been shared more than 2,000 times on Facebook.

"It just exploded and everyone started commenting on it," Rolle said.

The packages were recovered, but the family will be taking a new approach from now on when they get deliveries.

"A few neighbors have said if you need something delivered to your house but you're not going to be there, let me know, we'll get it for you and they'll hold it until we get home," Rolle said.

Rolle says police told him the woman may have more stolen packages from other people in the neighborhood.
