13 Action News is uncovering some disturbing new details on a teacher arrested Monday for alleged lewdness with a child.

Somerset Academy students may remember teacher William Crawford who taught at the North Las Vegas campus for 3 months in 2012.

Here are there details outlined in sworn statements from his accusers.

The investigation began in June of 2014 when a father and his 14-year-old daughter went to the North Las Vegas

Police Department claiming that her former band teacher, Crawford, kissed her on the lips twice in 2012 when he still worked at Somerset.

She also said he held her hand once during a group trip to Roberto's Tacos.

She even admitted to calling him "Dad" because her dad was in the military and not usually around at home.

She told investigators there was another female who they later interviewed. That student told investigators that Crawford instructed her into a closet near the band room and tickled her causing her to slap his hand off.

She went on to tell police that she would occasionally catch him looking down her shirt and there was one time when he poked her buttocks with a pencil.

The principal of the school told police she was unaware of these incidents, but fired Mr. Crawford for punching a hole into a cabinet.

Police weren't notified of these incidents until 2014 and didn't locate Crawford until this January.

When they interviewed him, he admitted that he hugged a lot of students but he denied ever holding a student's hand, kissing one, or tickling one.

He also denied poking anyone's buttocks, but investigators still found probable cause to put him in handcuffs.
