Erich Nowsch indicted for murder of Las Vegas mom Tammy Meyers

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Erich Nowsch has been indicted by a Clark County grand jury for the murder of Las Vegas mom Tammy Meyers.

His next court date has been set for March 12 at 8:30 a.m.

The 19-year-old man is accused of killing 44-year-old Meyers during a shootout with her son. Meyers was present at the time and was allegedly hit in the head by a bullet from Nowsch's gun.

Nowsch was indicted formurder, attempted murder and firing a weapon from a vehicle.

It was initially believed that the shooting was the result of an incident that triggered a case of road rage.

Meyers died two days after she was shot.

It was later revealed that there was much more to the story, and that Nowsch was known to the Meyers family.

Police are still looking for the person who was reportedly with Nowsch at the time of the shooting. Authorities believe that Nowsch was the passenger in a car at the time of the incident.

Nowsch is currently being held at Clark County Detention Center.
