Alleged driver in Tammy Meyers case pleads not guilty

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Alleged shooting death driver, Derrick Andrews pleaded not guilty on Tuesday morning and asked for a speedy trial in the death of Tammy Meyers.

Andrews is currently being housed at the Clark County Detention Center. He was booked on the following charges: Murder with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm from a vehicle.

The district attorney's office said both Erich Nowsch and Andrews are facing the same charges because prosecutors said they both played a role in the murder.

Andrews and Nowsch will be tried together beginning May 26 at 9 a.m.
