Biden to stump at Las Vegas work training site
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Vice President Joe Biden is continuing a two-day visit to battleground Nevada with an appearance at a Democratic rally at a culinary work training center in Las Vegas.
Campaign officials say Biden plans to talk Thursday at the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas about the middle class, the economy and the choice between President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney.
The Culinary Academy is a vocational training partnership between local unions and 26 hotels, restaurants and other properties on the Las Vegas Strip.
The appearance will be Biden's third time in Las Vegas in four months.
He's also been to northern Nevada, including an event in Reno on Wednesday.
Early voting starts Saturday in Nevada and ends Nov. 2, just days before the Nov. 6 presidential election.
