Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Egg farmers in the Silver State are helping in the fight against hunger just in time for Easter.
Rocky Mountain Eggs donated more than 32,000 eggs to Three Square Food Bank on Wednesday.
The donation was part of the United Egg Producers effort to provide assistance to food banks across the United States.
"These are wonderful items to have donated this time of year, especially right before Easter. High in protein, and they will be well received by our agency partners," said Erica Thompson with Three Square Food Bank.
