Las Vegas bowling tournament brings military members together
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Members of the military are gathering in Las Vegas for an annual bowling tournament.
The Military Bowling Championships begin Monday, Jan. 21 at the Gold Coast and Orleans Bowling Centers, and run through Friday, Jan. 25.
Practice for the players began Sunday.
The event brings together military bowlers from all over the world to compete.
Participants said it's a great way to get to know other members of the military.
Organizers said the tournament is the largest gathering of active duty and retired military personnel for a sporting event in the world.
