Local foundation inspires, rewards kids for acts of kindness
Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- A local foundation honored the birthday of a young boy Sunday, who died in a tragic accident.
The Josh Stevens Foundation held a celebration at Crazy Pita in Henderson.
Josh died back in 2008, just before his 13th birthday. The foundation was created in his honor.
Its mission is to recognize and reward children for being kind, and to inspire kids to be even more kind, following in the footsteps of Josh.
Proceeds from Josh's favorite pita will go the foundation. The event goes through 9 p.m. Sunday at the Crazy Pita located at 2225 Village Walk Drive #175.
