Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and a local pizzeria served up a "Slice of Hope."
Jesse's Pizza has been serving Henderson for the past 10 years, and now they're paying it forward.
The pizza restaurant donated 15-percent of Friday's sales to the Karen Mullen Breast Cancer Foundation.
And they're not alone. "Slice of Hope" has banded together pizzerias from across the nation, in an effort to fight this invasive disease.
More than 190,000 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed this year.
