Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A local school is getting a special touch before the kids come back.

City National Bank helped them paint a mural in honor of their school's diversity.

Helen Jydstrup Elementary now has a mural painted in it's front entrance.

City National adopted the school ten years ago, as one of several at-risk schools in Nevada.

The principal said the mural will also serve another purpose, to remember a student they recently lost.

Students have no idea the mural was being painted. They'll get to see the work of art on the first day back, which is August 27.
