New fire station opens in Summerlin

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Valley's newest fire station debuted to the public Tuesday.

Fire Station 107 is officially open for business. Crews there will serve residents in the Sun City Summerlin area. The two bay building will house one fire engine and one rescue unit.

In all 18 members will serve out of this new station including six firefighters and six paramedics.

The cost of the new 7800 square foot station came in at just over $4 million.
