Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- City of Las Vegas officials unveiled the newest traffic signal downtown.

The traffic light operates at the intersection of Lewis Avenue and Main Street.

The new signal went to full red, yellow and green Tuesday morning.

It's part of the $93,000 signal construction project in conjunction with the new City Hall.

Officials estimate that nearly 24,000 vehicles pass through the Lewis and Main intersection daily.
