Sands Foundation donates $1 million to Discovery Center Museum
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) - The Sands Foundation donated $1 million Tuesday to the Discovery Center Museum for their new location in Symphony Park. It's the single largest donation to the new museum campaign since the lead gift from the Smith Center for the performing arts.
The donation also brings them a lot closer to their goal of $2.5 million. In honor of the gift one of the new museum's three floors will be named for the Sands Foundation.
