A female driver was arrested for DUI after crashing into a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police vehicle near Sammy Davis Jr. Drive and Resorts World Drive Monday morning.
Police say that around 5 a.m. an officer tried to stop a vehicle traveling west on Resorts World Drive. The vehicle was driving without lights and in an area closed for construction.
The driver of the vehicle slowed to a stop at Sammy Davis Jr. Drive. When the driver started moving again, she bumped into the back of a patrol SUV, causing minor damage to both vehicles.
The driver was arrested for DUI. No word on injuries.
