During the months of October and November 2016, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has been investigating a series of robberies which occurred in business parking lots and parking garages on the valley’s west side.

These robberies involved between two and three male adult suspects.

Generally, the suspects would approach victims on foot and would rob them at gunpoint.

On Nov. 15, Daveon Hayes and Dashawn Daniels were apprehended in the 2400 block of West Sahara Avenue when they were caught by officers moments after allegedly committing a robbery.

Both men were also linked to a robbery that same evening in the area of West Flamingo Road and South Decatur Boulevard.

Detectives with LVMPD’s Spring Valley Area Command Patrol Investigations Section were able to link Hayes and Daniels to at least six of these robberies in the series.

They have been booked into the Clark County Detention Center and currently face multiple charges.

A third suspect remains unidentified and outstanding.

Anyone with any information about these incidents, or the third outstanding suspect, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 702-385-5555.
