Witnesses say a woman playing Pokemon Go terrified a group of young children Friday evening.

13 Action News obtained surveillance that shows a woman driving directly onto the lawn of a residential park while reportedly playing the game.

It all went down in a quiet Henderson neighborhood.

Neighbors debate whether the woman intentionally drove onto the sidewalk and into the park to catch a Pokemon, or if it was an accident because she was so focused on the game.

The park is what the app calls a “Poke Stop” where players can catch Pokemon and other valuable items digitally.

Neighbors are upset because there was a group of young children in the park.

"You can kill somebody by doing that," said Arlene Mayberry who lives next to the park. "I'm afraid. My kids are in danger."

In a matter of 20 seconds, the driver broke at least two laws -- driving on a public sidewalk and driving while distracted.

"My kids play it and they said it's fun, but I think if you're driving or in a vehicle you definitely shouldn't be playing,” said Eugene Ramos.

The driver has not been identified and neighbors are not pressing charges at this time.
