Construction is now complete at Lewis Family Park, a neighborhood park on the east side of the valley.  It spent weeks fenced off and collecting trash.

Back in September, people living near the park reached out to 13 Action News, concerned that construction seemed to have stopped.  The park was fenced off, and was collecting trash and debris.

13 Action News made some calls and found out crews were just waiting for some paperwork to go through before finishing the project.

"I saw the news 13 van out here one day, and it seemed like almost the next day they were out here,"  says one neighbor, David Duff.  "All of a sudden it was a bustle of activity and they got it done."

Lewis Family Park is one of several parks across Clark County that will be getting a facelift, after commissioners agreed to put $77 million into improvements.
