UPDATE: One person has been taken into custody as a result of this shooting.
ORIGINAL STORY:
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is reporting that a person was shot at an apartment complex located on the 500 block of 10th Street near Maryland Parkway and Charleston Boulevard.
The incident occurred at around 10:24 a.m. on Wednesday. The victim reported to police that they had been shot.
The victim was transported to UMC Trauma and is believed to have been shot in the arm.
Police are searching nearby residences for the suspect(s).
