Firefighters received a call reporting smoke coming from a vacant business at 5285 Dean Martin Drive around 11:14 a.m. Tuesday.
Crews did not find an active fire when they entered the building. However, they did receive reports of squatters, and police were called to investigate. The building had experienced squatter problems in the past.
No injuries were reported and damage has not been estimated.
