North Las Vegas police said a baby girl dropped off at a church near Carey Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard Wednesday night appears healthy.

Investigators learned the child was dropped off by two unidentified adults before they left without speaking with law enforcement. She was evaluated by a doctor and said to be in good health.  The infant is currently in protective custody.

Investigators are now working to determine the identity of the baby girl.

Officers said she was estimated to be about 4 months old.

Mohave County authorities recently arrested the missing girl's parents for withholding information about the girl. North Las Vegas police confirmed they are working to determine if this is the missing girl.

It is unclear how long it will take to make that determination. Mohave County officials are confident the baby is the missing girl.

Anyone with information on a baby girl who was dropped off at the North Las Vegas church is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
