North Las Vegas officers will be conducting a pedestrian safety event on Friday from 6 a.m. and 4 p.m.
They will be targeting drivers who fail to yield for pedestrians and pedestrians who do not cross streets in a safe and legal manner.
These events are made possible by a Pedestrian Safety Grant from the Nevada Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety.
