7:15 P.M.

Update on bicyclist hit by a truck near Torrey Pines Drive and West Tropicana Avenue. The bicyclist is in super critical condition and is not expected to survive the night. 

5:25 P.M.

Police say a bicyclist was hit by a truck near Torrey Pines Drive and West Tropicana Avenue on Monday afternoon. The truck then hit a wall. The bicyclist was pinned briefly under the truck but has now been transported to University Medical Center with rib injuries.

3:30 P.M.

A juvenile is in critical condition after being struck by vehicle in Summerlin area. READ MORE.

6:15 A.M.

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responding to fire at 2605 Cedar Avenue. Fire in laundry room of apartment building. No injuries reported but American Red Cross requested to help 10 residents.

4 A.M.

Clark County Fire Department responded to a house fire at 4 a.m. at 633 Fontayne Ave., near East Pebble Road and East Serene Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered smoke coming from the 2nd floor. The fire, which started in a bathroom, was knocked down in 10 minutes. The occupants of the home were able to escape safety. CCFD sya that the fire started in the ventilation fan that had been left running all night. Damage has been estimated at $10,000.

OVERNIGHT

Fire investigators say that a fire in the electrical room at Classic Cuts near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Alexander Road was caused by someone cutting into a wall. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control within minutes. At this time, no one has been arrested.
