This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for October 26, 2017.

8:30 P.M.

Las Vegas police are investigating a critical injury accident involving a moped and a vehicle near East Desert Inn and Oneida Way that occurred shortly after 5 p.m. The moped rider was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Expect delays if you are in the area.

6:45 P.M.

Four people have been taken into custody after a car was stolen near Craig Road and Simmons Street.

A total of five male subjects were inside the stolen car when it crashed into a rock near Alexander Road and Simmons Street. They bailed out of the vehicle after the crash.

There was a Trunk-or-Treat event with K9 Officers going on nearby at Richard C. Priest Elementary at the time of the theft. One suspect jumped the fence into the event and was quickly captured.

One suspect is still on the loose, but police expect to capture him soon. Small streets near the area are closed while officials look for the suspect.

4:15 P.M.

Las Vegas police received a call from Sam's Town around 11:14 a.m. saying a guest may have checked into a room with a gun. So far no threats have been made, no injuries were reported, and there have not been any arrests.

4:02 P.M.

Several residents have been evacuated due to a standoff at an apartment complex at 3800 Cambridge Street, near Twain Avenue and Maryland Parkway. The incident began around 12:07 p.m. when officials received a report from a female victim that a man threatened to kill her if she called the police. Currently, there is a man inside an apartment, and police believe he's armed with a gun.

1:29 P.M.

Police have received a call stating a person has a gun in a car near Jones Boulevard and Rochelle Avenue. Police are currently trying to make contact with the suspect.

UPDATE: A man has been taken into custody due to a road rage incident near Spring Valley Library. The man flashed his gun at another driver and police tracked him down.

12 P.M.

A bus driver and two students from Garehime Elementary School were taken to the hospital after their school bus was involved in a crash. READ MORE

6:20 A.M.

Police have surrounded a gas station on Durango Drive and Flamingo Road. Officers have extended their search to a near by apartment complex.

6 A.M.

A rollover crash involving a jeep and a Cadillac occurred on the corner of Pebble Road and Spencer Street. At least one person was transported from the scene by medical personnel.

5:45 A.M.

A crash on Eastern Avenue, near Robindale Boulevard, has caused the intersection to be closed off.
