This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for October 16, 2017.

7:35 P.M.

Las Vegas police confirms a motorcycle rider is in critical condition after colliding with a vehicle near Sahara Avenue and Maryland Parkway. The crash happened around 5:45 p.m. Fatal detail is investigating. 

4 P.M.

3 female hikers are stranded in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Las Vegas police have sent its search and rescue helicopter to help the women. READ MORE.

9:57 A.M.

The Clark County Fire Department responded to a fire at 2624 San Luis Street, near Pecos Road and Carey Avenue. Firefighters reported large amounts of dark smoke showing from the vents of a single-family house. Crews knocked the fire down at a reported time of 10:13 A.M and the cause of the fire is still under investigation. There were no injuries reported.

6 A.M.

A truck backed into the Lima Limon restaurant near the U.s. 95 and Decatur Boulevard. It is unclear if there were any injuries suffered during the incident.
