This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for November 19, 2017.

8:30 P.M.

Las Vegas police say a man may have attacked his wife with a blunt object and then shot himself around 6 p.m. in the 5200 block of East Craig Road. They were both transported to UMC Trauma in critical, but stable condition. This is an ongoing investigation. 

5:40 P.M.

Two juveniles were trapped inside a van after a crash on northbound Interstate 15 near mile marker 77. READ MORE.

1:33 P.M.

RTC Southern Nevada says Southbound Las Vegas Boulevard is back open near Hamilton.

12:46 P.M.

Southbound Las Vegas Boulevard is closed near Hamilton Street due to a fatal crash. RTC Southern Nevada reported the crash around 12:30 p.m. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes. READ MORE.

7:19 A.M.

A fire has been reported at D Las Vegas in Downtown Las Vegas. According to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, the fire is in “the vault” of the hotel. The vault is where all the wiring and power from NV Energy come into the building. The casino/hotel have not been evacuated. The fire department is waiting on NV Energy to arrive to assist in making sure the fire is out and there is no danger. 

OVERNIGHT

Two people were shot early Sunday morning in the 5600 block of Boulder Highway near Tropicana Avenue. It appears the two individuals may have shot each other. Police say one person is in critical condition. The shooting happened around 4:30 a.m.
