5:40 P.M.

Police said a suspect is in custody following an officer-involved shooting near Silver Lake and Vegas drives.

4:45 P.M.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating an officer-involved shooting near Silver Lake and Vegas drives. Officials say the shooting happened around 4:11 p.m. No injuries were reported. Details are limited as this is an active investigation.

4:40 P.M.

A 16-year-old was shot in the lower extremities in the 100 block of San Miguel Avenue around 2:35 p.m. The juvenile was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A crash occurred around 2:45 p.m. at Cheyenne Avenue that may have been related to the shooting. Police detained three people after the crash for questioning. 

4 P.M.

A man is in custody after a standoff situation on a roof of a home on Christy Lane. READ MORE.

2:30 P.M.

A robbery led to a barricade situation at a residence in the 4700 block of Golden Shimmer Avenue, near Shelbourne Avenue and Decatur Boulevard. Around 3 a.m. Wednesday, police were called to the scene of a citizen being robbed in the 300 block of Silverado Ranch Boulevard. Multiple suspects were traced to the Golden Shimmer Avenue residence around 3:45 a.m. Several people exited the home and were detained around 11 a.m., though police say there is one more inside the home.

2:20 P.M.

LVMPD is reporting a barricade situation at a residence located on the 1700 block of South Christy Lane, near East Charleston Boulevard and South Sloan Lane. A man was reported to be on a roof. READ MORE.

Las Vegas police are looking for Zachary Drey in an early morning stabbing on Maryland Parkway. READ MORE.

4:30 A.M.

A woman is dead after being hit by a semi truck on Flamingo Road, near Maryland Parkway. Police say the truck driver drove onto the curb before hitting the woman. READ MORE.

2:45 A.M.

LVMPD reports a homicide investigation at an apartment complex located on the 3800 block of S. Maryland Parkway, just south of Twain Avenue.

Patrol officers were sent out for a welfare check when they discovered the body. The victim's age, name, sex, and cause of death have yet to be released. READ MORE.
