Las Vegas police say that there was a crash involving two vehicles near Aha Macav Parkway and Needles Highway near the Nevada-California border. Needles Highway was shut down so a Flight for Life helicopter could land. One person was transported to UMC Trauma in unknown condition. Police say a small fight or argument broke out between the parties, but there are no other details at this time.
11:00 A.M.
Around 9 a.m. in the 1700 block of Rockcrest Drive, a neighbor heard a woman screaming at a house next door. Arriving officers found a woman with severe stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. Homicide detectives are investigating. READ MORE.
