6:58 P.M.

One person is trapped in a rollover crash on southbound U.S. 95 near Decatur Boulevard. Multiple vehicles were involved.

6:05 P.M.

No injuries were reported in a shed fire that spread to a house at 1900 Leona Street, near Lake Mead Boulevard and D Street. Crews were attacking the fire that spread to the attic.

4:10 P.M.

Spring Valley Hospital was briefly locked down Saturday afternoon after a suspicious man called dispatch to report a threat to blow up the hospital located near Hacienda Avenue and Rainbow Boulevard around 3:15 p.m. As a precaution, hospital management decided to lock down the premises and scan the hospital for suspicious items. The lockdown was lifted at 4:11 p.m. Nothing suspicious was found and the hospital resumed normal business. 

11:30 A.M.

A Spirit Airlines flight was briefly delayed Saturday at McCarran International Airport after a passenger took off all clothing while boarding. READ MORE.

10:30 A.M.

The Nevada Department of Corrections reported July 29 that on July 27 at approximately 6:21 p.m., 75-year-old inmate Robert Moore died at the Regional Medical Facility inside the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City. Moore was committed from Clark County on January 24, 2003, and was serving a sentence of 10 to 40 years for sexual assault, victim under 16 years of age.

5 A.M.

Las Vegas police were involved in a shooting in the 1800 block of Western Avenue, north of Sahara Avenue. An officer shot at a marijuana dispensary burglary suspect. No injuries were reported. READ MORE.
