7:56 P.M.

7:25 P.M.

Two suspects were shot by police in the 4600 block of North Goldfield Street, near Commerce Street and Craig Road in North Las Vegas, according to Las Vegas police. No other details have been released at this time. READ MORE.

7:20 P.M.

The Nevada Department of Corrections reported Monday evening that on July 22 at approximately 3:47 p.m., inmate Michael Nathan Sears died at the Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas. Sears, a 46-year-old male, was housed in the infirmary at High Desert State Prison prior to admission to the hospital. He was committed from Clark County on March 17, 2016, and was serving a sentence of 4 to 10 years for attempted lewdness with a minor under the age of 14. The Clark County Coroner’s Office responded.

A small plane has crashed near the Henderson Executive Airport. READ MORE.

11 A.M.

Las Vegas police say a takeover-style robbery happened shortly before 11 a.m. at a local Walmart near Tropicana Avenue and McLeod. No injuries reported. READ MORE.

7 A.M.

A driver was arrested after a police pursuit on Interstate 15 Monday morning. It started at Lake Mead Boulevard when the driver failed to stop. Officers said they had to use a spike strip to finally stop the driver on I-15 near Blue Diamond Road.

5:58 A.M.

A woman was taking cash out of an ATM on Nellis Boulevard when she was approached by a man with a gun. He pointed the gun at her and demanded money. He then drove away in a white sedan. Police spotted the vehicle on East Cheyenne Avenue. People in the area told police where the man went. He was taken into custody.

12:39 A.M.

Las Vegas say two people were shot at Sam's Town. Their injuries are not life threatening. The shooter has not been caught. Police believe that one of the victims had a connection to the shooter but the other person was an innocent bystander. READ MORE.
