5 P.M.

Las Vegas police officers are currently investigating an incident which originated as an attempted burglary in the 5000 block of Droubay Drive, near the Clark County Wetlands Park. During the investigation, at least one suspect shot at officers. At this time no officers are injured; it is believed that the suspect is still inside the residence. READ MORE.

4:15 P.M.

Firefighters were called to the Stratosphere hotel-casino around 1 p.m. after getting reports of a possible electrical fire in one of the hotel rooms on the 17th floor. Crews at the scene found electrical wiring that had shorted out in an air conditioner unit. Damage was confined to the unit itself and no evacuation was conducted.

10:15 A.M.

Fire crews are battling a 2405 Berkley Avenue.

6:30 A.M.

A semi truck crashed into a rail heading southbound on the I-15, near St. Rose Parkway. The two left lanes of traffic were blocked due to the crash.

 

 

6:00 A.M.

A truck smashed through a Henderson home's garage near Gibson Road  and Paseo Verde Parkway. The incident has left a streak of debris in the air.

There's been no reports of injuries and the cause of the crash is undetermined.

OVERNIGHT:

Police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot and killed near Bonanza and Pecos roads around 10:30 p.m.m on July 11.

Police say the victim was in his late-20s and had possible gang affiliations.

Right now the police are interviewing several witnesses but are yet to name a suspect.
