4 P.M.
Las Vegas police have responded to a barricade situation in the 7900 block of Decker Canyon Drive, near Cimarron Road and Vegas Drive. It began as a domestic violence call around 4 p.m. when police said a man pointed a handgun at his girlfriend. The girlfriend was able to safely get out of the house and is now with on scene with police. The girlfriend told police that her boyfriend is still in the house and the boyfriend is not responding to phone calls from police nor is he coming out of the house.

The intersection of Lake Mead and Belmont has reopened after crash this morning involving motorcycle and car. The motorcyclist is in critical condition.

Firefighters tackle brush fire on the side of the U.S. 95 near Decatur Boulevard. Firefighters have extinguished the flames.
