3:47 P.M.
A 5-year-old shot himself in the finger around 9:19 a.m. at 4730 Luxor Way, near Nellis Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue. The child's mother was home at the time of the shooting. Police are investigating the case, though it is unknown if any arrests will be made at this time.
