United States Sen. Patty Murray of Washington is working on a bill to ease that stress across the nation.
Sen. Murray is calling it the Child Care for Working Families Act.
The goal is to be able to offer more high-quality, affordable, accessible child care while also paying day care workers more money.
According to Sen. Murray's website, more than 100 organizations have endorsed the bill.
