Just about every man in America has a pair of khaki pants in his wardrobe. But on Saturday, you won't find many in Ohio donning pleated tan pants.
On Friday, Ohio governor John Kasich passed a resolution, asking residents to refrain from wearing khakis on Saturday ahead of Ohio State's annual matchup with arch-rival Michigan.
Khakis have become the signature look for Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh. While coaching the San Francisco 49ers in 2014, his wife revealed that he buys the pleated-front pants for $8 a pair at Walmart, and he's continued sporting the look at Michigan.
Kasich, 1974 graduate of Ohio State, passes an annual resolution ahead of the Michigan game, advising Ohioans to avoid using the letter "M" on gameday. With Harbaugh coaching his first game in the rivalry this season, Kasich used the resolution to give some fashion advice to his constituents.

Kasich referred to Harbaugh's khakis as "dull, earthly and workplace appropriate for 'Jake from State Farm.'"
No. 8 Ohio State will take on No. 10 Michigan at noon in Ann Arbor, Mich. on Saturday.
