UCF plotter's roommate calm but urgent in 911 call
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- A roommate of the student behind an aborted college attack plot in Florida tells a 911 dispatcher that he slammed the door after a gun was pulled on him.
The caller is heard over a screeching fire alarm, making it hard for the 911 dispatcher to hear him. He speaks in a calm tone but with urgency in his voice.
The caller is heard saying: "He pulled a gun on me." He says it happened after he opened the door to his room because he heard the fire alarm.
Police have said that James Oliver Seevakumaran pulled the fire alarm in an effort to flush out potential victims. He was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound early Monday when police responded.
