Washington (KTNV) -- A Washington state mother is in big trouble with the law after a video of her toddler appearing to take a hit off a bong for marijuana went viral.
The mom says that it was all a joke but the police aren't laughing.
The mother can be seen on the video walking up to a 22-month-old boy with the bong. The child then appears to take a hit.
His mother, 24-year-old Rachelle Braaten, was arrested on drug charges. Police found 40 pot plants and guns in her home during their investigation sparked by the video.
She is also being investigated for child endangerment.
The boy and another 5-year-old living at the house are with relatives while police investigate.
The woman's boyfriend and father of the child was also arrested.
