(KTNV) -- We trust them to get our kids to school and back safely. School bus drivers have an important job to do but one guy's thoughts and hands were on something else recently.
A Florida bus driver is taking heat after he took his eyes off the road to check his text messages.
And the whole incident was caught on camera.
The video shows Robert Stancheski checking his text messages and driving at the same time. You can see him on the video taking his eyes off the road more than once.
You can also see him taking both hands off the wheel in the video too.
Parents definitely are not happy.
What's even worse is that this is not the first time that he has been caught.
Stancheski was suspended last April for doing the same thing.
The school district says that no student were on the bus during either incident. However, outraged parents say it does not matter and they won't him fired.
