(KTNV) -- A little slip by Duchess Kate Middleton has the world speculating this morning about the royal baby.
The royal family is not explaining the slip but it certainly has everyone guessing.
Duchess Kate was making a public appearance yesterday and people were there with flowers and gifts.
This time, a woman in the crowd gave her a stuffed bear.
Duchess Kate said "Thank you. I will take that for my d...."
She quickly stopped speaking and corrected herself to say "for my baby."
But, that little slip has everyone guessing.
Many are speculating that she started to say "daughter." Other guesses include "darling" -- a nickname for the royal baby.
Or, the "d" could possibly stand for the baby's potential first name.
Duchess Kate has said that she and Prince William do not know what they are having.
She is not due to deliver the baby until July.
