Search for Christopher Dorner cost one agency $550,000
Los Angeles (KTNV) -- The massive manhunt for Christopher Dorner cost just one sheriff's department more than a half-million-dollars.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office released its estimate on the search for Dorner.
A spokeswoman said the department spent at least $550,000.
The Los Angeles Police Department has not yet released its estimate.
The 33-year-old former Navy officer reportedly killed four people and wounded three others, before taking his own life when police surrounded his hideout.
Dorner's alleged killings were part of a vendetta against his former LAPD colleagues.
