Naselle, WA (KTNV) -- An incredible story of survival out of Washington State, where a crash killed a woman, but one of her daughters was still able to save the life of her sister.
The children were stranded on the side of a highway for several hours, until a passing motorist spotted a car in the bushes.
When he stopped to investigate, he found the woman's body in the wreckage, then saw the two young girls hiding a few feet away.
The 4-year-old said she got the 2-year-old out of the car, and had a blanket that she covered them both with.
Police said the mother fell asleep behind the wheel and swerved off the road.
The two girls are expected to be okay.
