Fourth-grade homework assignment raises eyebrows
(KTNV) -- A teacher at an Arizona elementary school recently gave her fourth-grade class a homework assignment that may not have been quite appropriate.
The assignment contained a question that asked what a woman should do if she found a hair clip with another woman's hair in it under her bed.
The mother of one of the students was not happy.
Heather Nicks alerted the teacher, who admitted that she had not completely read the assignment. The teacher at Playa Del Rey Elementary School emailed parents to apologize for the assignment.
