Dog with note attached to harness saves homeless man
Seattle, WA (KTNV) -- A dog near Seattle takes the saying "man's best friend" to a whole new level.
A woman spotted the dog wandering around with a note attached to its harness. She read it and realized it was a cry for help.
She remembered she had seen the dog with a homeless man in the area, so she called 911.
Police eventually found the homeless man in a wooded area nearby.
"He was absolutely immobile. He was in his camp, and couldn't move from his location, didn't have a phone to call anybody, no way to reach out to anyone for help, and he was afraid he was going to die," said Detective Jen Kolb, Tumwater Police Dept.
Police got the man to the hospital, where he was treated and released.
