(KTNV) -- Here is an interesting question: Would you pay more to make sure you don't have to sit next to a baby on your next flight?
One airline is now offering that option.
AirAsia is offering a quiet zone. The kid-free seating is now available on some of its flights. The first seven rows ban children under the age of 12.
But, you will pay about $11 to $36 more for the privilege.
Passengers with little ones are seated in the back of the plane.
So far, the quiet-zone flights are only operating in Asia and Australia but the idea could catch on with other travel providers.
Airline executives are calling the no-kid zones "a heavenly package for those who want peace of mind."
They say the are not banning kids, just "enhancing" their array of offerings like more leg room and window seating.
