BlackBerry Z10 unveiled after lengthy delays

TORONTO (KTNV / AP) -- The first in a new generation of long-awaited BlackBerrys will go on sale in the next week in Canada and the United Kingdom, but won't be released in the U.S. until March.
The CEO of BlackBerry maker Research in Motion, Thorsten Heins, BlackBerry, announced the timetable at New York event where the new smartphones were unveiled after lengthy delays.
A model called the Z10 will go on sale Thursday in the U.K. Prices will vary by wireless carriers.
The Z10 will be released in Canada on Feb. 5 and will cost about $150 with a three-year contract.
Heins says the Z10 and another model called the Q10 won't come to the U.S. until March. He didn't say how much the smartphone will cost.
Heins also announced that Research In Motion is changing its name to BlackBerry.
A review by CNET said the Z10 features an HD screen, a fast processor and a camera that's good enough to stand by other smartphones.
But the new BlackBerry doesn't look like its older models. "That's a BlackBerry?" "Where's the keyboard?" That's the main reaction ABC News has received to the Z10. There's no physical keyboard and a lot looks similar to an Android phone or iPhone.
The Z10 has a 4.2-inch, 1280 x 768-resolution display and a thin all-black body.
