Casey Anthony movie premieres on Lifetime
Florida (KTNV) -- The verdict that shocked the entire nation will now play out in a Lifetime Original Movie.
Actor Rob Lowe stars in "Prosecuting Casey Anthony," which premieres Saturday, Jan. 19 at 5 p.m. (PST).
Lowe portrays Jeff Ashton, the Florida prosecutor in the trial.
The movie is seen from Ashton's perspective and it takes viewers behind-the-scenes of both the investigation into Caylee's death and the trial.
Casey Anthony was acquitted of killing her daughter Caylee on July 5, 2011.
