Detroit, MI (KTNV) -- General Motors rolled out what it hopes will be a modern classic at the Detroit Auto Show.

The Chevrolet "Corvette Stingray" is back. It was unveiled in front of an audience of more than 1,000 spectators.

The "Stingray" name hasn't been used on a new Corvette since 1976.

GM said it's the most powerful and fuel efficient Corvette ever.

The new Corvette has so much muscle, 450 horsepower, it can go from 0 to 60 in less than four seconds.
