Midlothian, VA (KTNV) -- A woman in Virginia said her Christmas present came with an unwelcome surprise.
When she opened her iPad box, it didn't have a shiny new tablet, but a bunch of paper notepads.
She and her husband filed a police report, then took the box and notepads back to Walmart.
She said the store manager gave them the run around, until they contacted the media.
The store then eventually gave them a new iPad.
There have been other instances across the country, where people have purchased iPads from Walmart, only to have the boxes filled with paper.
