Christmas tree through the roof - accident or illusion?
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- It's a story that will get you in the holiday spirit. A father, husband and jolly Seattle resident, create a destructive illusion... for smiles.
Patrick Kruger, 41, purchased a 14-foot-tall Christmas tree this year. He placed it in the front window of his home for the whole community to see. The photo makes it look like the tree erupted through the roof top; shingles disassembled, but tree intact.
So was this the result of nurturing the tree, causing it to flourish overnight? Or an illusion to make us wonder and chuckle this holiday season?
Come to find out, Kruger simply shaved off six-feet from the tree top and bolted it to the roof. An illusion, at its finest.
Thanks to Kruger, we're reminded to channel our inner creativity this December.
