BEIJING (AP) -- Chinese state media say a fire in a clothing factory has killed 14 people in the south of the country.

The official Xinhua News Agency said in a brief report that one other person was injured in the fire Tuesday in Guangdong province.

Last month, a fire at a clothing factory in Bangladesh killed 112 people and highlighted dangerous workplace conditions. Workers who survived the fire said exit doors were locked.
