Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A mother may have saved dozens of lives by turning her son in to authorities.
Tricia Lammers said she was convinced her son was plotting a massacre in Missouri, and she may have been right.
She said 20-year-old Blaec Lammers confessed to the plot. She said her son wanted to carry out a mass shooting at the screening of 'Twilight' on Sunday, then continue his deadly rampage at a nearby Walmart.
Lammers said she had to do what was right and turn him in.
"I am not a hero," Tricia Lammers said. "I love my community just as much as I love my son. I respect the people who live in my community and I respect their safety, and their right to be safe."
Lammers said her son suffers from mental health issues. She said she became suspicious after she found a receipt for two weapons and suspected he might have been off his medication.
